I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend so far. I enjoyed work being closed Friday due to the weather, and I was able to deviate from my
usual Saturday schedule yesterday and take my daughter to her classmate’s
birthday party. I really do love seeing her interact with other children. It’s
also amazing how they spend every day in class together, but when they see each
other outside of school they act as if it has been years, LOL. I’ve always been
one to bring cupcakes to school on her birthday to celebrate, but I just might
work up the courage to throw an actual party for her this year if time allows for it.
On another note, my lab was deep into finishing up an
experiment at work last week and the break pushed us back a bit. We’ll have to
make up for it this week and I’m definitely not looking forward to the monotony
that comes with this aspect of the research that I am involved in. The bright side is that my birthday
is on Friday, so I’m already looking forward to the weekend. I can’t wait to see
what’s in store for me this year! But anyway, I’ll try my best to keep up with
the posts this week, but if you don’t hear from me it will be because I’m just too tired.
